music from the movie

I saw this movie on chanel 13 a long time ago, and lost the vhs tape I'd made of it. A couple of years ago I was at a Patti Sith concert and she sang "Set me free". I thought it sounded familiar, and then it hit me, it was from the movie! I also loved the rock version of "onward chritian soldiers" Is there a soundtack?

Yes, there is a soundtrack -- only available on vinyl. I have the soundtrack.

The US version of the soundtrack, on UNI Records, still turns up fairly regularly. With a bit of luck you might even come across a still sealed copy of the LP. Try ebay or www.gemm.com.

I found "Set Me Free" and "Jerusalem" clips on youtube, but the former is extremely poorly lit. I could not find the boisterous and rollicky "Onward, Christian Soldiers." I used to have the vinyl soundtrack, but that has long since disappeared.

It's available on iTunes and Amazon. iTunes link:

Just got it from Lovefilm. Was there something similar in the 1970s? I think I remember it being reviewed but I can't have, I was only five in 1967.
