If Done Today it would be Stilettos and Thongs!!!

Walking on dirt/sand in Stilettos is impossible, but some times you see it.
Barefooted or sandals is more realistic.

Personally, I preferred the outfits worn by the women here. Not too small. Not too large.

Also remember this was at the time that Barbara Eden couldn't show her belly-button in I Dream of Jeannie!
