Carol White

I was drawn into watching this film on cable last night by Carol White's hot sexy looks. Then when her first husband treats her like dirt,I knew this was going to be an interesting movie.
I was mainly fascinated by how well preserved this film is and it gave me a chance to see 1960s London as it was in clear vivid colour with a touch of greyness about it.This movie definately has a modern feel for 1967.
It gave a very good insight into the poverty that many in London had to deal with then.
I am somewhat sad to learn that Carol died quite early in 1991 aged only 50.
I would have expected her to be alive and healthy today as she looked quite young and firm in 1967.She had an awesome body too!!

Carol was a very good actress. I am sorry she died so early in life.
A great pity she got a lot of poor roles.

Carol White I've also seen her in I'll Never Forget What's'isname and Daddy's Gone a Hunting. She is a beautiful, talented and charismatic actress. Poor Cow reminded me of Darling in many ways. She was a sexually independent woman in this movie. I prefer Carol though a lot more than Julie Christie.

Carol White sadly died after years of drug abuse.
It's pathetic to realise that she made so many of the mistakes that were also made by her character in this film.

She reminded me of Goldie Hawn and the singer Duffy. It's a shame that she died young.
