Don't Get The Criterion DVD..... Yet!

Criterion is going to re-release Playtime
in a double-disc edition soon,
since the 1 disc version went out of print a
while back.

People are still paying a large amount
for this DVD, yet the results are.... not stunning

first off: Criterion is the 120 minute cut, not the 155 minute
that still exists.

the sound was mono, yet it was a 6 track stereo when
it was released.

Criterion is clearing all this up
by releasing a New improved 155 cut
and a new [possibly] 5.1 or 6.1 surround track

let's see how it turns out later this year.
