I did notice that the young girl who played Gertie (Phoebe Nicholls) later played Cordelia Flyte, one of Sebastian's sisters, in the 1980s BBC production of Brideshead Resvisited.
How do I find out when this movie will be airing again? I remember watching this movie when I was a young child.. my Mom had been out I believe it was Christmas shopping and I stayed up with the sitter and watched it, I can't get it out of my head, I'd love to see it again.. Does anyone know how I go about looking it up to find out when it will be on again? Thanks so much, Pamela
shareI am also looking forward to seeing this movie. We missed it on TCM this past October. I did not know about it back then. Let´s ask TCM to show it again. Do you know how to do that? Go to www.tcm.com and click on ¨Suggest a movie¨ I´ve asked for it over a month ago but they take time to accommodate requests since they already have their schedule for the next three months (you can see it on their webpage). By the way, ¨the room at the top¨ (1959) is also a thriller which I haven´t seen. It´s supposed to be as good if not better. Check it out and ask for it too. You should also vote for both movies to be released on DVD. At the present time neither of them have been released on any format of Home Video.
