Or, you could just buy the soundtrack from THE COLOR PURPLE, where Quincy Jones's score seems to be a ripoff of the music in OUR MOTHER"S HOUSE. In fact, Spielberg used the OMH score as a stand-in score while filming COLOR PURPLE!

Georges Delerue's score to OUR MOTHER'S HOUSE has been my favorite film score since I first heard it in 1976. I have the original mono and stereo Canadian M-G-M Quality Records pressings; the 1978 Polydor/M-G-M stereo re-issue and the Film Score Monthly CD re-issue. A true soundtrack gem !!
