Good campy fun for a movie viewing party??

I sometimes have some of my gay friends over for dvd/blu-ray parties; we watch stuff like MYRA BRECKINRIDGE, OSS-117: LOST IN RIO, THE DECAMERON, LAW OF DESIRE. This seems like it might be fun for that kind of event... or not. Whaddaya think?

Only if you're hopped up on goofballs and ready for some lifelong nightmares/acid flashbacks. Superficially, it might seem 'campy fun' but there's some very unsettling stuff buried within this movie (the hanging scene that alludes to the execution of Mussolini and his compadres, the suggestion of gang rape, etc). You mention DECAMERON, but to my mind this is closer in theme to Pasolini's SALO - not quite as accomplished, and tied to a genre form, but closer in theme all the same.

'What does it matter what you say about people?'
Touch of Evil (Orson Welles, 1958).
