I was there!

I was in the Royal Navy in December 1966. My ship visited Monaco and was berthed close to a yacht where some of this was filmed. I also remember drinking coffee with Adolfo Celi, and others, in a cafe.

Mel, that is so cool to hear! Do have any pictures? I actually kinda like this movie......but don't anyone hehe. I first came across it like most people, watching MST3K. After several viewings of the episode, I am a bit fond of what the filmmakers were trying to do but couldn't really pull it off. Anymore stories from that time when you were there Mel?

No pictures; I am sorry. The only other clear memory is that of watching Olivier's "Othello". The Rainier family were in the theatre (cinema). So I guess you could say I went to the movies with Princess Grace(RIP)!
