translation of Soichi Oya book

I wonder if there is a translation of Soichi Oya's book that I can
order though my University of Hawaii Inter-Library Loan option. I don't
read Japanese unfortunately. So please let me know if there is a
translation anywhere.

Secondly, I noticed only one female in the cast, the woman in the prime
minister's residence which the occupants had evacuated when they heard
assassins were en route. She looked familiar but I couldn't place her
or discover her identity among the voluminous cast members (I tried to
guess which name was a woman's but; again, my guesses (click-ons) did
not click on a name that revealed whether the actor was an "actress" or
just identified generically as "actor".

You may wonder why Oya's name is not found on the cover. I'll explain.
When the original book was published, Oya was credited as "editor/supervisor", not "author/writer".
The actual writing was done by Katsutoshi Hando without being credited,
because he was an employee of the publisher back then.

Hando has become a famed writer himself afterwords.
In 1995 he published the revised edition under his own name.

The Actress

I've seen this movie only once in my childhood, so I can't recall the scene.
But from the cast list in Japanese movie website,
I believe the actress you referred is Michiyo Aratama.

If she looks familiar to you, I guess you saw her in either
"The Human Condition" trilogy, "Kwaidan", or "The Sword of Doom".
