Most definitely agree VincentPriceIsRight we just can't enough of these horror classics ( especially these Hammer horror classics  ) . This is my very first time viewing this film and despite some folks not liking this movie as much I seem to be enjoying it so far the storyline seems to be moving along at a just right pace no confusions to my knowledge of it either  . Enjoy the Svengoolie movie tonight ( " The Wolf Man " from 1941 ) if you are watching it as well VincentPriceIsRight and thanks for your reply here too  .

Also don't forget the  !! 

Me too! The plot is typical for any mummy movie as expected (esp for this time period). Gotta love the crazy woman with the crystal ball though!

I certainly do like and appreciate the consistency of these classic films  . IMPO It's a brilliant formula that works for me and never let's me down  . I agree vestdennis the crazy woman with the crystal ball did throw me for a loop didn't expect her to turn out that way   . Thanks vestdennis for your reply  .

( PS - Are you watching the Svengoolie movie tonight on MeTV at 10PM / 9C " The Wolf Man " from 1941 ?   )

I have DirecTV and don't have METV. Wish I did b/c I love the old TV shows/movies. I need to get an antenna I know. I do have the original Wolfman on my DVR though as well as many classic Hammer films on DVD. Along with many Vincent Price movies...

What a total bummer vestdennis but at least you have a DVR full of excellent memorable classics to refer back to anytime you want to watch  . If you do have " The Wolfman " 1941 movie on your DVR you can still watch along with us at 10PM and chat on that board with all of us there too ( just a suggestion ?  ) . Don't worry about your antenna if it's on your to do list you will get that soon as well  . Thanks again vestdennis for your reply  .

Nice thread, folks, I can't agree more. I just commented on the Longbarrow thread how such films are part of cherished memories for many of us. Often, it seems as if the movie's quality is less important in memory, if not at the time.
For my part, I first saw this one at the Sundowner, last Drive-In in Anchorage, AK. It double featured w/The Thing from Another World (1951). 'Twas who I watched it with that makes the memory sweet. :)
