First Bresson film I hated

Maybe it's my mood and I promise myself I'll go back to it, but this movie was awful.
I just watched A Man Escaped last week and loved it. Pickpocket is very good, as is Trial of Joan of Arc. Au Hasard Balthazar is a difficult watch, but so much to be admired....another I'll go back to when I'm mentally ready. I just couldn't get into caring enough about her plight, to see the full story. Maybe I immersed myself into too many "thinking" movies in one week or month.

I'm sure I'm wrong on this, but only time will tell.
