a real gem

Polysics are a great band, but sadly this movie is not great. Amusing at times, weird, not typical, but also not very good. The soundtrack was especially annoying. If you want to see something similar that is great, check this one out:

I recently was talking to someone else who saw both, and he agrees with you. I wish I liked both, but unfortunately this one is the one I was not in love with.

I got to see an American print of this the other day, under the title of "Plucked". It was edited from the original version I saw, and although one of the things cut were the very amusing advertising images the guy came up with, the movie seemed to flow a bit better, or I just found it more amusing and compared it less to "The Laughing Woman" which I preferred much more the last time I saw this movie. To be honest I saw this very shortly after seeing "The Laughing Woman" and felt they were too similar and this one to be the inferior one. I have spoken to a few people who have seen both, and there are a couple that agree with me, but more who prefer "Death Laid An Egg". But I have now amended my feelings to say I do like this movie, just not a lot.
