Wonderfully Ironic about Senator Dodd

The Republican Senator who is speaking at the beginning of the film is Democrat Senator Christopher Dodd's father. The first Senator Dodd was one of only 6 people censured by the Senate, and the first since McCarthy. He spent campaign money on personal expenses. His son was elected in 1980, so as we say a fond fairwell to the current Senator Dodd, who is retiring, under fire for his own economic transgressions, it warms the heart to know that corruption does not play favorites according to party affiliation, it just runs in the family. I'd laugh if it wasn't for the damage both of them did to this country.

I always thought Wild in the Streets was hokey (in terms of clothing, etc.) but after seeing how people really dressed and behaved in 60's Hollywood, it turns out that it's not!
