Maroc 7!

This is one of the best films ever made!!!!!!!...if you like excitement and sixties fashions.
Which is why I LOVE this film!

I happened to see it once on tv as a teen a looong time ago and now, years later, I found this forgotten classic on dvd! This film is so unknown that I forgot about its existence. It's a crime that it's not mentioned more often. Austin Powers would have loved this.

Maroc 7 is a lot better than many of the later Bond films -much more fun and suspencefull.
And the sixties fashions are to die for! They took models like the ones in Blow Up and put them in the desert in Morocco! One of the girls is Ann Norman who was one of the "birds" in David Hemmings studio!
Didn't know she was a good comedienne.

Elsa Martinelli and Cyd Charisse and Alexandra Stewart are gorgeous. Gene Barry was unknown to me but could have scored his own Bond-like action heroe series.

It was much more well made than many other secret agent thrillers made in the sixties. This one is by far superior to such trash as the Matt Helm series (which are fun to watch with the sound off since the dialogue is awful). Watch this one instead!
