How could all the monsters board the ship in America?

I'm sure the producers were just trying to skimp and cut corners to showing everybody arriving and boarding the ship in the same scene was only a matter of cheapness but since Felix obviously was in America that means the Hunchback, Dracula and the Werewolf all had to travel to America first and then board the ship (which seems kinda dumb considering the boat was of English origin (at least the sailors had British accents) so those guys should have already been on board.
