Hi Eric. I am interested in getting a copy of the DVD if you have it available. Of course it seems out of print, but if you can make a copy I would be willing to pay any reasonable price. my email address is [email protected]. Thank you for your kind response. Dan

To Anyone This Concerns,
Has anyone had any luck in finding a copy of this film on any format? (VHS, DVD, Blue Ray, Laserdisc, Divx, etc.) This was one of my favorite war films of all time and I really would love to have a copy of this film to watch whenever I have the desire to see it! It's been over 20 years since I've seen this wonderful picture. Please, if there is anyone knowing where I could get a copy of this film, you can reach me at: [email protected] Thank you for reading or responding to my post! Cya, Bill Netter

I ordered a copy several years back from ‘Classsic Movie Reel’, and I see it’s still available at:

[http://classicmoviereel-com.netsolads.com/Thelongesthundredmilesdvd.html?creative=12777486211&keywords=the%20longest%20hundred%20miles%20dvd&matchtype=b&adGroup=52618]

The quality indicates it’s a VHS recording off the TV, but it perfectly watchable and enjoyable, especially for IMHO

1) Katherine Ross in pants
2) The song of the Filipino children, which I have been trying to find someone to translate
3) The untranslated but perfectly understandable exchange between the Japanese Army and Navy officers: “Have you seen any escaping Americans?” / “No, nothing like that … / “Hmmm… / “…just a bunch of cute little children in a bus on a raft and they ….” / “WHAT!?!”

Hope this helps

Hello Christy,

I have just seen the film myself and quite enjoyed it. I recorded it off the TV on British Channel 5 TV. I watched it last night and thought for a TV movie it wasn't too bad.
There's another war time film on New Year's Eve called “Escape to Mindanao”
which is also set in the Philippines about the same time. I hope to record that as well.

regards,

Tony

Are you going to pull those pistols or whistle "Dixie"?
