Just imagine a Godzilla flick with ‘Zilla in an ape suit- and you get the feel of this movie! An evil doctor (thus, we run this in our “The Doctor is In-SANE!” MONTH) – with the somewhat familiar sounding moniker of “Dr. Hu” (it’s easier to differentiate in print)- has discovered the most powerful radioactive element ever- and has stolen the plans of a U.N. scientist to build a gigantic robotic version of the legendary King Kong to dig it up, at the request of the government of a sexy secret agent lady. When the radiation messes up the robot’s power- it appears only the real thing will do- and Dr. Hu sets out to capture and control the mighty Kong!

He stated the one girl in movie is Jackie Gleason's daughter... yet I read on IMDB that is not true. Not that it matters... the movie is awesome, even better with Sven.

I think people are confusing http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1349047/ with http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0588817/ --the second one I've listed is Gleason's daughter and Jason Patric's mother.

I see people spelling Dr Who's name Dr Hu but the official credits at the end of the film say WHO and the IMDb credits do also --- I think people assume it's Hu because he's Asian but Hu's a Chinese name and our Skeletor looking bad Dr is Japanese ---
