I think this movie is great. It is so cute with Gozilla's son in it and he always has to protect him from the bad guys. I also love that little ring of fire that he blow out of his mouth.

I've always found this to be a very enjoyable movie. It's not the best Godzilla film, but far from the worst. There's a certain silliness to it, it doesn't take itself very seriously, and I think that adds to the appeal. Plus you gotta love the "not as scary-looking" Godzilla with the huge eyes! Also a good Godzilla movie to watch if you have young kids.

Actually, you don't have to love the "not as scary-looking" Godzilla - the suit is terrible.

Still, the film itself is colorful fun - good for kids and just goofy enough to amuse adults as well.

the ONLY thing that kept annoying me was the lame smoke rings that Minilla keeps breathing out. Such an obvious and pointless gag.

Baby Godzilla was simply adorable. The sceene with Godzilla teaching the cute little tyke the basic beastly behemoth ropes on how to roar and spit fire was hysterical. Plus the very ending is real sweet and touching.

Does anyone else remember those ads that were all about fatherhood and the tagline was "It takes a real man to be a Dad." And they used clips from this movie along with "Happy Together" by The Turtles? (I think that what song they used. Not too sure)

But anyway, I too love this movie. Minira is so ugly-cute, it's almost unbearable.

I LOVE this movie too!! It's just really silly fun! I love the kamakuras (giant praying mantis) and Kumunga(Spiega- The giant spider)!! I also love the beautiful island sceens and the music. Just all around fun!!

Slightly better than Godzilla's Revenge/AMA... but just barely.
