Disney unfair to pythons

In the book Kaa is the largest (thirty inches thick, thirty feet long), oldest, wisest, and most dangerous predator in the jungle. He is friends (sort of) with Mowgli, and saves him from the monkeys in the ancient temple by knocking down a wall and then mesmerizing and eating the monkeys. Of course a snake can't be a good guy in a Disney animated feature.

What other movies make snakes good guys though? 

Today, besides the Jungle remake by Disney, there's also two giants snakes in Summit Entertainment's "Gods of Egypts".

New Line (WB) "Snakes on a Plane".

And others (Disney's other snake would be "Robin Hood"'s Sir Hiss)/

so in short how many snakes from ANYONE are depicted as friends?

Amanda Bynes is hot and Lindsay Lohan is not.
