Ending... on to Edo.

At the very end, seems to me the surrogate mother (with Tomi) was walking toward Edo... isn't that hill where the rider came down from Edo earlier? But I don't remember exactly. So, one could wonder that the story did get out... (how would they make the movie otherwise? Ha ;).

The legend of the martyr will be told. THat's what matters. The social establishment, bureaucracy and the lord will get its comeuppance.

I noticed the pines on the left of the winding road when Isaburu came up to the border gate, and again the same pines and the hill are framed when the woman leaves going back in the opposite direction from Edo. I'm not even sure the woman is the same wet nurse who was in the house (though that is just a possibility: she followed them).
Also the riders were pursuing Isaburu following him when he hid from them, and they were waiting inside the huts at the border as his friend told him (evil people inside).
