I'm halfway through the film on TCM, saw it years ago. This has to be the most redundant score ever in a movie. I know how it ends, no sense in putting up with this any longer.

This has to be the most redundant score ever in a movie.The music that kept greeting the Keystone character every time he lobbed up on the screen, almost succeeded in making the sound of fingernails dragged across a blackboard, seem welcome in comparison.🐭 share
It was fun to see Karl Malden get screwed up because his score from one burglary was mostly traveler's checks and credit cards. In a few years he would be singing their praises.
