Does anyone have any idea who the band playing at the hotel is? or Where I can find the songs they play? It's really cool garageish surfy totally 60's music. Someone help me please.

"Mickey Rooney Jr. and His Combo" is the band. Have no idea if they did anything other than this film and a few Barmitzvahs...

I love when the cop smells the glass to see if its alcohol. When he finds out its just a soda pop, he asks the kids, "Why don't you drink this stuff at home?"

Between the band and the dancing, I get flashbacks of the old Archie's cartoon band!

The music was surprisingly good and really felt like a club back in those days. My dad took me to his friends nightclub back in the 60's. I had to stay in the food service area but could easily see the dance floor and band and this music was pretty authentic.
