Yes, and that was a joke. Forman was showing how backwards the Czech society was at the time, as opposed to Western Europe, how they paid lip service to Western culture, but turned it into something very very local.

I always laugh when I hear the song. And knowing more about Forman in the future, and his understanding of culture, I'm sure the humor was intended.
