Boots Malone

That's a William Holden movie from 1952! So, is there a connection? Or, did they simply like the sound of the name?

I had to laugh at some of the lines, considering this was during the spy craze. Besides M.O.T.H.E.R., we hear:

"Sorry about that, chief!" ~ Shades of "Get Smart"!

Then, there's the reliable "We have ways of making you talk!"

That "I need an all day lover" song seemed a little risque for the times too.

It just ended, and I still don't have a clue what I just watched.

if it was any good they'd have made an American version by now - Hank Hill

It's amazing what you find being aired on TCM these days. 

Don't mess with me, man! I know karate, judo, ju-jitsu..... and several other Japanese words.

Has something happened to the TCM catalog? I see a lot of repeats and some oddities like this.

That's the same thing I thought when I saw it by chance. I recognized Joi Lansing from 'The Beverly Hillbillies' and her one appearance on 'The Adventures of Superman'. I had no idea she died so young from breast cancer. I've famliar with many country singers but the only one I knew in this film was Molly Bee.

I thought all the songs and the singing was really good in this. You can't say that about a lot of the low budget teen films that came out of that era.
