Basil Rathbone!

I'm surprised no one posted that THE Basil Rathbone was in this. John Carradine and Lon Chaney Jr. are known for appearing in low budget films at the end of their careers but I was surprised to see Mr Rathbone in this.

He was not well, and had bills to pay, I suspect.

Caarrdine said all of them, Chaney, Rathbone, and himself, knew it was a piece of crap but they all needed the check.

Rathbone would make one more awful movie before he died. Chaney made several more but mostly played mutes as booze and cigarettes destroyed what was left of his voice, Only Carridine carried on into the early 1980's (he had a small but noticeable part in "The Howling").

I hunted this film down just to see them together for one last time. Have to say I am sorry I did! "Plan 9" is an Oscar winner compared to this awful muck! And the music, and I do like country, sucked as well!

I want to see Basil Rathbone's final film. I understand that John Carradine joined him again in that one.
