Movie Location
Does anybody know that this film was partially filmed near Blythe, CA., at a neighbor hood called Nichols Warm Springs? Just happened to be watching it and recognized the scenery as being as such.
share The opening credit scenes were shot in San Francisco. The rest, including the church in Nevada was shot in and around Bakersfield. What's amazing is that the ocean pier,the park, the hillclimb, the spot where the old man gets run off the road, and the intersection where Jocko gets arrested, are within about a mile radius of the little valley where the HA rescue Jocko from the cops. The bar in Oakland, The Ruins, the oilfields, everything was shot in Bakersfield.
