After the jailhouse scene when the Biddles return home (one of the formally cut moments from the movie). There are several lines that are dubbed and sound a bit unlike Fred MacMurry.
I am wondering if those audio tracks were lost and they got someone else to dub it when they restored the scenes.

shareDon't know what you're watching it on, but that IS Macmurray's voice. He may have ''looped'' it after the scene was filmed, but it's him, and nobody else.
shareI have to admit, I wondered this too. They *sound* like MacMurray, Tommy Steele, and Greer Garson, but there's that funny "dubbed in" sound quality. Maybe just because they were looped, as a previous poster mentioned. Since Disney did this with BEDKNOBS & BROOMSTICKS with the restored scenes, I thought that same thing may have happened here. The song "It Wont Be Long Til Christmas" is most definitely MacMurray and Garson.

They are indeed dubbed. The original tracks were lost. From the point the Biddles come in the door from the jail house until "It Won't Be Long 'Til Christmas", the voices are dubbed (Fred MacMurray and Greer Garson's actual voices are heard in the song).
I wrote an article on this way back when Anchor Bay put the film on DVD. I received wonderful help and information from the Disney Archives and the Disney film restoration department.
While you can tell just a bit that it's not the original actor's voices,the voice over artists did a great job.
