Lindsay Lohan.

I was prepared to tell all the LL haters to shut up and just agree or disagree with me on the similarity in looks instead of telling me how badly I'm disrespecting Ms. Houghton by comparing her to "such a drug-addled tramp" (as I've seen on other boards). Not necessary, as to my surprise after reading a few threads, that Katharine Houghton is probably more hated than Lindsay is, as they believe she ruined an otherwise great film! (I am only halfway through my first viewing, but I do not share that opinion at all).

She looked like Katherine Hepburn, which was undoubtedly the sole and only legitimate reason she should have gotten that part. To be blunt, she sucked big time, and should never have been in this film, especially not with three such fantastic actors as Tracy, Hepburn and Poitier. A total farce and badly marred the film.

She was Katharine Hepburn's niece. I believe she only was in one other movie and then became a writer instead. Houghton is the family name of Kate's family.

Yes, you're right, she does look like Lindsay Lohan !
And I, too, think that her portrayal of Johanna was spot on.
