Joey was so adorable....

She was just so cheerful and naively optimistic. She knew where she wanted to be and she was going to get there - somehow. The details themslves didn't matter. She even made a line like "She was being a *****," seem sweet and innocent. I think that America alone could use a couple hundred thousand of her. We need individuals who aren't cynical or pessimistic; specifically ones who can encourage others like Joey did with her family and future husband.

That Dr. Prentice is a lucky man.

No she wasn't adorable she was a nightmare, she reminded me of a Jessica Simpson type simpleton.

I agree; if this movie was made today, she'd be a drug-dipping party girl a la Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan.

reply

I agree. You are so right.

reply

Agreed.

The world needs more ignorance is bliss? There's no short supply of that. I prefer knowledge is power. Joey lived a sheltered life of privlidge. Some would call her whimsical or idealistic. Others would call her an airheaded bimbo. What does objective reality have to say? The vast majority of interracial marriages end in divorce. Let's appreciate the world for what it is rather than pretending it's something else. Political correctness is what's truly stifling.
