In Leonard Maltin's review of this classic, he asks (presumably rhetorically), "See if you can count how many times Dennis Hopper says 'man'."
Well, I just watched this on ThisTV (channel 8.3 here in DFW), and I counted 41, plus twice when he uses the phrase "old man"--but I also missed a few minutes of the movie.
Anyone have a more accurate count?
I'd have to rewatch it I also saw it on This but I think he probably said it even more than 41 times because he says it at least 3 times in every scene he's in. I remember being amazed by how much he said it through the film. I felt like I was being brainwashed lol!
