Yes, I am fully aware of how horrible this movie is. But I won't be satisfied until i've seen the full version, with the deleted infamous rape scence and the other violent sections.
So far, i've had no luck whatsoever finding the unedited version anywhere online... not even clips of the cut scenes. Does anyone know where I could obtain this footage?

I saw this movie when I was 9 years old at a theatre in Los Angeles. It was playing with Night of the living dead. My 12 year old sister and my 7 year old brother and I snuck into it after our parents droped us off to do shopping.
Anyways not a family reunion goes by that we dont bring up this movie. It was billed as The Side Hackers and the rape scene and other violence were brutal.Would probably have had nightmares from it , but Night of living dead followed it and was even worse.
Please let me know where you got the edited copy and if I find a source fpr the unedited copy Ill contact you right away. Should mention that the year I saw it was 1969.

shareit was shown on tv, unedited, in europe last night. really boring and then the rape scene, pretty shocking. a station here is showing all this old drive-in junk every night, but every now and then a gem pops up.
shareI've only seen the MST3K version, I could tell there was a rape scene in there, it was cut for Television. The whole attack was cut. I don't know it I'd want to watch a rape scene after viewing the MST3K version so much. It's pretty much my favorite episode on the Volume 3 set.
I read on Wikipedia, that MST3K writers didn't finish watching the whole film, and while writing they were shocked to see the rape scene. Ever since they started watching all of the movies, beginning to end.
Yeah, in the early days they usually didn't finish watching the whole movie once they actually decided to use it, and the first time any of them actually watched the whole thing was in the first writing session. But after the incident with the sudden brutal rape scene popping up in middle of the otherwise goofy and somewhat innocent Sidehackers they made it a rule that the movies all had to be watched to the end by someone before they could actually decide they were going to use it on the show (I assume that any movie that from early on in was obviously not going be used could be stopped early). It was Franks job for a long time to prescreen the films, and present the whole group with his top choices, and they would then make final decisions for episodes.

Probably graphic ... by 1969 standards. If you've seen any movie with graphic depiction of rape from the 70s and onward (Death Wish 2, Class of 1984) it is pretty tame in comparison. Then again, it was made in 1969, so it might have been pretty shocking for that era.
