I know its trivial, but every time I see this movie I get caught up in the lack of thought put into the details. One of the worst gaffes is the idea that at her rate of philanthropy 190,000 dollars, less the 75,000 they have to send to Byron Casey, will keep her in her accustomed style for the rest of her life. She gave away nearly that much in the time the movie covers. Much less pay for the upkeep on the mansion, and the food and utilities and the servants.
