Orbison's acting.
Obviously Roy's acting in this film was terrible. Understandably, given the fact it was his first acting role and that he wasn't accomplished in the art, but strangely, he actually played the old man part very well.
shareMy thoughts exactly. When he put on the beard, wig, and sideburns, he looked great and his "old man" acting was a noticeable uptick in quality.
shareAbsolutely. The song segments of the film were beautiful as well, and Roy done during those parts of the film. He was good in parts and wooden in others, but it was hardly a script that required a Laurence Olivier performance.
