Does this film have a legitimate official release by ABKCO films or do i have to buy another awful bootleg off of the internet?

It has been officialy released in 1999 by Fantoma films and you can get it at :

According to the ACKCO site, they will release this, El Topo, and The Holy Mountain, but I don't know when.

Can you rent it from someplace like Netflix, and then, um, you know, make a back-up copy?
If the DivX version on the P2P networks is sourced from the DVD, it should be pretty good quality.
