Great movie

It might not be as substantive or thematically dense as a movie like The Searchers or Red River, but it's just as fun a "hang-out" movie as Rio Bravo. My only regret is that I was a little distracted while I was watching so I missed out on some of the dialog. Oh well, there's always next time.

I always think more highly of Rio Bravo but El Dorado does have it's moments.
Wayne is always, well, Wayne, and that's a good thing. Mitchum and Cann do just fine in ED, as well as Martin and Nelson did in RB. But I have to give the edge to Walter Brennan's Stumpy as the grizzled sidekick. He just shined in that film.
