Was this ever officially released on either format?

I've got it on VHS here in the UK (early 1980s ex-rental tape). I don't think it's been released anywhere since - it took me a couple of years to find my copy.

I've seen a dvd offered on ebay a few times (UK region though). It looked professional but couldn't tell if it was bootleg. Maybe it was home made.

Actually, I just purchased an official DVD yesterday (in Europe). So it seems to have been released only recently.

It's just been released in the USA thru WB Archive, and available on Amazon (widescreen).

Anybody in the UK who might be wondering about a DVD of this? BFI have got it.
