Claudia's Character (Spoilers)

Laura (Claudia Cardinale) destroys Carlo's possessions at the beginning. Later, Lara backs into a hydrant at Carlo's house the day before it rained. Maybe it was a combination of the hydrant water and the rain that caused the landslide.
