The Glass scene: Mystery solved...
The drunk guy who Dylan argues with about the glass - "Im nothing, Im a small noise" - is none other than Malcolm McDowell.
"They say I shot a man named Gray
And took his wife to Italy"

Ok i just watched it and I dont think that was him. Not unless you got it from a reliable source and it SAYS that it was him. It does look like him but I dont think it was him not unless you found out somewhere that it was him, like I said earlier.
shareWhy don't you think it's him? It looks and sounds EXACTLY like McDowell. It was filmed in 1965, some time before McDowell's breakthrough. His words, "Your'e a big noise, I'm a small noise" fit perfectly. Look again...
shareThat's enough crack for you. Have a cup of tea and a lie down.
shareThat guys nose isn't broad enough to be McDowell...
shareIt certainly does not look like him ..or sound like him. But I'm no expert..

Mystery solved at last:
I just read a D.A. Pennebacker interview from 1995 in which he reveals the guy Dylan yells at is a member of The Pretty Things.
- A point in every direction is the same as no point at all.
odd coincidence that i just came from the clockwork orange forum, and thought i'd choose this film next whic hhas nothing to do with a clockwork orange, and then i find this post. the guy does sound somehwat like mcdowell, but facially there is very little resemblance. it is not him.
shareignore Badabingbadaboom..he is a misguided idiot
shareAccording to the Pennebaker / Neuwirth DVD commentary, it was one of the people who'd been invited from a local pub back to the Savoy hotel for drinks. So I figure it could have been anyone.
I don't mean to impose, but I am the Ocean.
