I could see that, after Fury.

It will probably suck. I have a little hope for Mel Gibson's Wild Bunch remake, even though it is not set in the Mexican Revolution, but Ayer's Dirty Dozen will likely fill all the PC checkboxes, so instead of Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson, etc. we will have the tough woman, the gay guy, the Islamic guy, the blind guy, etc. etc. etc.

Bad idea. This is exactly the sort of movie you DON'T want to remake, the kind where everything was done as well as it could possibly be done, and the movie came out better than it had any right to be. Because on paper, this is just a standard army movie, on the screen it's a hilarious and frightening delight.

Remake the movies that could have been better done. Like "The Hobbit".

Have you seen The Magnificent Seven remake?

It was unsatisfactory.
