I'm just guessing but I think I know what you're talking about; in fact there was a past thread from a another poster who brought this up, but it looks like the board has been updated & a lot of the old threads are gone---would you happen to know what IMDB's policy on that is, btw? Just asking. But back to your question; are you referring to a kind of sour-faced officer who has no lines but just stares at Reisman? I answered on the past thread that I think he's an uncredited extra who was just there to play another witness to Worden's (Borgnine) informing Reisman of the new mission. I also opined that maybe he was a stenographer of some sort, with Worden and Denton (Webber), neither of whom was a fan of Reisman, wanting everything recorded, in case anything happened to foul up the training & everything would be scratched, and Reisman would have gotten busted big time & been done for as an officer.
