Anyone else have a soft spot for this movie?

Mind you, I am not saying this movie is a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination but I found it to have its share of entertainment value in the form of its pacing, cinematography, sets, characters with enough dynamism to keep my interest, and overall atmosphere. In short, I found it a welcome change from much of the contemporary dreck in circulation. That and the lady who played Doris was great eye candy.

I don't know. There were some talented people working on it, the plot was okay, but I think it was executed horribly and the bee effects were super fake. The acting isn't all that great with a few exceptions. I just watched it last night and I do think it's a bad movie.

That being said, it's not gut-wrenchingly awful, it's a tolerable movie. I've seen Frank Finlay in several things so it's cool he's the bad guy. I love the ending too, I don't understand how it's so hard to get (maybe people just fell for Mike and the Bots' reaction to it).

Well yes, a splat today, but tomorrow - who knows, or dares to dream?

I love it because it's so reminiscent of the swingin' British 60s...that'll always have a soft spot for me!

I first saw this movie on WABC in NY on "The 4:30 Movie" during the '70s. I loved it then as a kid, but I haven't seen it since.

BTW, like "The Killer Shrews," Stephen King wrote in "Danse Macabre" that "The Deadly Bees" was an important horror movie, FWIW.

No blah, blah, blah!

I thought it was quite enjoyable and entertaining. I don't think it deserved to be on MST3K because it wasn't that bad at all.

Come, fly the teeth of the wind. Share my wings.

I like it. It wasn't particularly good but it wasn't really bad either.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

I like this movie, although I do recognize it's no masterpiece. The Hargrove marriage alone makes it worth watching.

I don't have time to jaw with anyone who won't identify himself!

People overlook the cool mystery aspect of it. I mean, I was torn about who the bad guy would end up being. I was hoping it would be Michael Ripper !

Like so many others, I first saw this movie on MST and always found it to be fairly entertaining on it's own. Years later, I found the movie on DVD and had to pick it up. I actually like it.
