beeees

What a creepy bee film...ok it wasn't that creepy. Still, the studio sets were good.

this is the first horror film I ever paid to see in a theatre, when I was ten.

OK, no masterpiece, in fact, it's a bad script.

But the acting is decent, and the film, though comical in part, does have a few disturbing scenes. The death scene of Mrs Hargrove(Catherine Finn) really does make the viewer feel how horrible it must be to die from thousands of bee stings!

Gotta say this: Katy Wild parading around the farm in those high heels is too funny for words!

This is another of Freddie Francis' horror films that I am dying to see. I'm sure it turned up late one night, but for some reason I missed it. Francis himself hated the film. In an interview he said that had he been able to, he would of left the business at the end of it because it was so awful. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yeah, it sucks, nut the MST3k version rocks!

Just done watching it on BBC...muhahahaha! It's a "few beers later" kind of movie, when you aren't really in the mood for Ingmar Bergman.

I too saw this film on BBC1 last week. I was pleasantly surprised - It wasn't as awful as I was dreading it to be. Definitely not one of the best films Amicus made, but still entertaining nonetheless and has the added bonus of featuring the lovely Katy Wild!

And the not spectacularly talented but very pretty Suzanna Leigh. Unfortunately her hair and makeup in this picture were terribly unflattering. They took a beautiful girl and made her look like a department-store mannequin.

My folks saw 'The Deadly Bees' on 'MST3K'. Count Lippe from 'Thunderball' is in it. Guy Doleman was from New Zealand?

Dear A-2: Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!

THE DEADLY BEES looks pretty good compared to THE SWARM (1978). Also, THE SAVAGE BEES (1976-tv movie) isn't too bad. THE SAVAGE BEES even has a sequel, tho I haven't seen it. It's called TERROR OUT OF THE SKY (1978) and it's also a tv movie.

I enjoyed watching THE DEADLY BEES years ago. Wouldn't mind having a copy if it was released on homevideo.

This is one my favorite MST episodes.
The bad female songstress, sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
The announcer on that talent show looks exactly like Craig Ferguson, the talk-show host.
The Birds- I have to admit they hit some cool notes during that song.

Crow- "The Skinnies!"

The way the married couple apparently hate each other very much...it's touching, really.

I do believe Paramount has since released 'THE DEADLY BEES' (1967) on DVD.

All I can say is . . .

beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!!

I had a fair amount of fun with it.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

The far from special effects left a whole lot to be desired. Moreover, it's pretty obvious from the get-go who's the person behind the whole thing.
