I think most people would agree, that this is neither Chaplin's nor Brando's greatest accomplishment, but a movie with these giants involved can't be all bad, can it?
So here's to positive thinking. What did you like best about it?
For me: Technicolor! I particularly enjoy the shots of the dark blue waves gushing during the storm (starting around minute 41).
I really like the end with Brando & Loren doing a tango to beautiful music composed by Chaplin. Not all bad at all.
shareI liked when Brando was chasing Loren (in her yellow pyjamas) in his room. Sorry, I laughed. It was great. No matter how much Brando probably didn't like those slapstick scenes (maybe those scenes were in some way awkward but I liked them).
And I liked seeing Tippi Hedren for being not in a Hitchcock film for a change.
