Lol. Too funny. I remember that was a hot color back in the day. I believe my uncle had a purple grand prix. I saw that car and was thinking, damn, the 60's had some crazy crap going on.

The family had a new model 1965 Pontiac Grand Safari station wagon that year, which may have been the model the Douglas family had in My Three Sons. It was lavender with a white vinyl top and red vinyl interior. Yikes! Anyway, there aren't too many purple factory jobs these daze.
