Lousy movie, clever innuendo.

I just finished this movie on Canadian Cable "Bravo" station and thought the movie itself was fairly lousy, however I thought the sexual innuendo dialogue was very amusing. It's what I miss about movies from the 70's... sex was still fairly repressed in hollywood, so their only outlet was in the dialogue... I also found the dark haired woman's voice to be rather seductive. It's amusing that most of the actors in this movie never went on to anything further, other than the star (if you could call that further). I was also amused by reading about Russ Meyer whom I'd never heard about prior to looking him up on this site...

Pink Flamingos is John Waters, not Russ Meyer.

Bill, I'm not sure what 70's hollywood you researched but Hollywood of the 70's had sex and sexual innuendo is in almost everything.

1970s Hollywood was a lot less repressed than 21st century Hollywood.
