What offensive thing does Dr. Fleming say @ the end

Trivia section said they deleted it on most copies b/c of that. Screw political correctness - having to delete or dub old lines from movies or tv!

It still doesn't say tsrts. I was hoping that someone seeing this may have watched the original unedited version.

Is the thread title mistaken? The Trivia section states the politically incorrect line was BY Columbo TO Fleming. And apparently that "edited out" line was something to the effect "that Flemming will not be able to get away with the crime on account of the fact that he had employed a woman as an accomplice, since she wouldn't be able to keep her mouth shut."

I've seen Prescription Murder recently; though not recently enough to recall any particular line in it. I do think if Columbo did say this "offensive thing" it was most likely to provoke a response from Fleming.

If there's some other offensive thing said by Fleming at the end - during the scene where he basically says enough to enrage his female accomplice enough to cooperate with Columbo - then I missed it.

However, I do think I was paying enough attention that I would have caught some old-fashioned sexist statement. I find them amusing artifacts and not offensive, but I do notice 'em.

In the second episode (Ransom for a Dead Man), Columbo makes a comment to a male associate attorney who's employed by a woman that was along the lines of "I don't know how you do it. How you work for a woman boss". I'm paraphrasing from memory but I laughed at how outdated it seems now!
