Had me until the end

I liked this piece of mind candy. The biggest laugh was at the end when Elvis and his girl were driving along the coast of MIAMI FLA, and passed oil wells and there were also mountains in the backgroud. What the heck though...it's an Elvis movie.

Agreed. the movie flipped from obvious Florida to obvious California shots scene by scene that it became like a game to identify one versus the other! For the record (and this film's makers), there are no mountains in Florida, especially not South Florida.

At least there will be plenty implied.

The ending was stupid in my opinion too, what kind of job did the young lady have, all she did was stalk the hotel looking for rich guys. Was she an office worker or a model. In addition, she knew the Bill Bixby character would want to have sex if she went back to his hotel room, Elvis warned her. So why go, he could have taken advantage of her.

You pretty much answered your own question lol. Elvis movies were made to make money, not for plot development. A common practice in many Elvis movies was doing second unit filming without Elvis to save money. In this case, the would do shots in Florida with Elvis doubles, and green screen him in on other scenes.
