Who voiced Franco Nero when singing? (solved: Gene Merlino)
Who voiced Franco Nero's songs esp. "If Ever I Would Leave You?" For that matter, how about the other actors? Did they sing on their own?

Mr. Merlino can also be heard singing over the end credits of the "Kamp Krusty" episode (9/24/92) of The Simpsons.
I believe that all the other mediocre singing heard in the film originates with the actors, who were almost all miscast in their roles.

I wouldnt say that at all. I think you've got camelot wrong if you think singing is anything close tyo what its about. Richard and Vanessa are ABSOLUTLY perfect for me

Thanks! Will look up Merlino. Robert Goulet has a smashing rendition of If Ever I Would Leave You so all these years I thought he voiced in the film as well.
shareI think Mr Merlino did a good job in singing the role, but I was really impressed with Franco Nero's lip-synching. He may have missed some beats maybe, but I didn't see it happen once. More to the point, he actually looked like he was singing and meaning the words -- something that rarely happens, it seems to me, when songs are dubbed.
