Striptease-Like Dance

I, too, am wondering what the name of the instrumental record is that Janice Miller (character name - Jodell Shorn) danced to. I've searched a myriad of websites pertaining to both the movie and the two men who did the soundtrack for the movie but I'm coming up with nothing. Does anyone out there know the name &/or the artist of this particular piece? Thanks!

reply

I just saw this on TV,so I can't go back and reaffirm my memory, but I think she was looking at a David Rose Album just before she started dancing.I believe he was a well known orchestra leader.I may be way off the mark here, but thought I would make the observation.

And a very good observation it was! Sorry about the delay in responding. Unfortunately, I cannot find a website that will allow me to sample the individual tracks off of the Stripper album.

Look for David Rose - The Stripper - it's certain to be on that album. Funny, my parents had that album in the '60's.

Thank you. Sorry about the delay in replying. I believe you're right, but I cannot find a website that will let me sample any of the tracks from the Stripper album. Will keep trying.

reply

No, that's the album she was holding, but the number is called ''Born Loser's Stripper'' composed by former California Lieutenant Governor Mike Curb, and included on the ''Born Losers'' soundtrack album on Tower Records.

...and what girl doesn't go home and practice her stripping routine after being brutally gang raped by lunatics? Business as usual. Nothing to see here, move along.
