Coming to DVD on January 27, 2009

BCI will be releasing "Blood of Dracula's Castle" as part of their EXPLOITATION CINEMA series of Crown International horror films. It will be paired with another Rex Carlton film, NIGHTMARE IN WAX. The double feature will street on January 27, 2009, for around $12.95 plus tax. Best Buy is accepting preorders online, but won't be stocking it in their retail stores. Other companies, such as Amazon.com, are also accepting preorders online.

As Twiki said, it is still available on the Gorehouse Greats collection. And it's only $5.

I saw it on Gorehouse today. With 12 movies for 6.99 you can get this for about 50 cents versus $12.95. It probably got discontinued as a double feature because some films aren't popular enough to be sold except as part of a large collection.

This film has just been reissued on DVD from Scorpion Releasing on a doublebill with "The Hearse."

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

Right you are, Woody. This new release is the best home video version of the film I've seen yet. It's letterboxed and has the extra werewolf footage (which was later shot for TV prints). Scorpion and their "brother label" Code Red are delivering great product these days.
